5 bar tread plate or otherwise known as chequer plate. The plate material is aluminium and offers great resistance against corrosion, anti-slip and wear & tear. This type of plate is commonly used as door kick plates, crash panels on doors, wall protection, walking areas and step/stair nosings due to it's raised profile. 5 bar tread plate can be post formed, shaped to suit a profile, folded and have apertures cut out of it. We have the capability available to us to do this, so if you require your tread plate to be any of the aforementioned, please ask.
